Copyright Policy
Copyright Policy
DroidFree adheres to the Singapore Copyright Act of 2021, as well as other relevant copyright laws, and is committed to protecting intellectual property rights. We expect all users to respect these laws as well. This policy applies to both the website www.droidfree.com and the DroidFree mobile app (the “Platforms”), addressing any infringement claims related to copyrighted content owned or controlled by third parties.
If you believe that an app available on DroidFree infringes upon your intellectual property, you can submit a takedown notice here.
Please note that takedown notices can only be submitted via this platform. If you're submitting on behalf of someone else, you must provide valid authorization.
Copyright Infringement
The rules governing DroidFree Platforms (including the Terms of Use, Copyright Policy, and Developer Agreement) prohibit the uploading of content that infringes upon copyright. Users are responsible for ensuring that they own or have the necessary permissions for any content uploaded. Uploading copyrighted material without proper authorization may violate the Platform Rules.
This Copyright Policy is not legal advice and should not be considered a substitute for consulting a legal professional. If you're unsure whether the content you wish to upload is copyrighted, seek independent legal counsel.
Take-down Procedure
If you believe your copyright has been infringed, you must send a takedown notice to DroidFree’s designated email address. Upon receiving a valid notice, DroidFree will take reasonable steps to remove or disable access to the infringing material as per the Copyright Act.
Restoration Procedure
Once the material is removed or access is disabled, DroidFree will inform the user who posted the content (the "Respondent"). The Respondent can file a valid counter-notice within the prescribed timeframe to request the restoration of the content. DroidFree will attempt to restore the material, provided it's technically feasible, unless the copyright owner initiates court proceedings to prevent restoration and informs DroidFree of such actions.
Takedown Notice Requirements
A valid takedown notice must be signed by the complainant and include the following:

Counter-Notice Requirements
A valid counter-notice must be signed by the Respondent and contain the following:
- The Respondent's name, address, phone number, fax (if applicable), email, and a Singapore address for service if the Respondent resides outside of Singapore.
